Migration in Dialogue
This was an 18-month collaboration between Eurobug Youth Work (IE) (Coordinator), Europimpulse Network (ES), Eurobug Lithuania (LT), and CGE Erfurt e.V. (DE), aimed at identifying and challenging barriers of access between migrants and civil society. The objective was also to network several migrant communities into a transnational network for migrant civic engagement. This project was funded by Leargas through the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
Partnerships.
The partnership comprised young organizations with a genuine interest and commitment to empowering migrant communities and challenging their marginalization. Within the consortium were two youth organizations and two NGOs with expertise in developing educational programs and e-Learning material. Three partners had ongoing migrant youth projects and a strong history of specialized programs and support for migrant youth.

Empower young migrants to lead and create movements and tools that would overcome their marginalization.

Identify the barriers young migrants were facing to political participation through dialogue and outreach led by young migrants.

Build sustainable practices and resources for the integration of migrants within democratic life.
Main activities.
The project had developed a robust foundation in identifying young migrants' perspectives. This facilitated working with the identified needs and collaboratively designing actions to foster migrants' voices and intergroup contact.
Research
Meta-analysis, focus groups, and participatory research formed the core of all actions.
Final Conference
Joint-staff mobility
An in-depth understanding of young migrants' perspectives was attained through study visits, interviews, and case studies.
Youth Exchange
The mobility served as a space for reflection and action piloting, aiming to change perspectives on migration.
The results, stemming from the reflective space of mobility, were disseminated both locally and on the EU level to relevant actors. This dissemination aimed to share insights gained from changing perspectives on migration and to contribute to broader conversations and initiatives within the European Union.
