Meet the Team.

Our Focus.

In Eurobug our focus is also dedicated to fostering emotional well-being among young people by offering tailored local activities and international projects that prioritize non-formal education and intercultural learning. Through this approach, we aim to empower youth, enhance their emotional intelligence, and contribute to a more inclusive and interconnected global community.

More about us.

  • We engage directly with young individuals hailing from marginalized backgrounds and migrant communities. Within these migrant groups, we empower young people from migrant backgrounds and those who are deeply committed to driving global change by elevating them to leadership and decision-making positions. Our initiatives, such as the Kilkenny Eurobug Group, Eurobug Youth Chats, and Volunteers Pool, serve as platforms for this purpose.

  • We establish direct collaborations with organizations both in Ireland and on a global scale. Our ongoing partnerships include the National Youth Council of Ireland, the Kilkenny Public Participation Network, Leargas (National Agency of Ireland), and regional media outlets. These connections form an extensive network that facilitates research and the dissemination of information on themes related to participation in migration.

Additionally, we directly engage with youth workers in diverse contexts through our projects and our involvement with organizations such as ENAR (European Network Against Racism), NYCI (National Youth Council of Ireland), and the Council of Europe's NHSM (No Hate Speech Movement), among others.

At the international level, we have forged robust partnerships with organizations like Central Goes Europe (CGE) in Germany, Eurobug Lithuania in Lithuania, KAMM Artistic Europe in Spain, Apice in Italy, Human Rights Association, and Creative Youth Platform in Georgia, among many others.

  • Since 2015, Eurobug has initiated ten international Youth Exchange projects. As a result of our extensive experience, we have developed our 'Youth Leaders and Youth Workers Model.' This model focuses on empowering youth throughout the organizational and implementation phases of international youth exchanges and we apply this model in all of our project as well.

Moreover, our Youth Exchange projects are driven entirely by young individuals and are grounded in the principles of "peer-to-peer education, non-formal education, performing arts, and advocacy."

Through our innovative Youth Workers Model approach, we have witnessed remarkable transformations in young participants who have evolved into passionate youth leaders committed to fostering global change and promoting youth development at both local and international levels.
